Bio
Spandana Pavuluri (she/her) is a senior at duPont Manual High School. Her Kentucky Student Voice Team-related passions primarily lie within the team's education research work, and she is the General Research Coordinator and head of the team's Coping with COVID Student-to-Student Study. She wants to shed light on the responses of thousands of authentic student voices and support the idea of intergenerational, student-led research. Within KSVT, she also is a part of the collaborative leadership circle (a.k.a. "the unicorns"), and has supported KSVT's Measurement, Assessment and Accountability and American Rescue Plan initiatives. She further serves as a member of the KSVT's board.
Outside of KSVT, Spandana works in other education-centered programs such as the Kentucky Department of Education’s Student Advisory Council where she has worked on multiple Mental Health Roundtables. She is also heavily involved with a local, student-run nonprofit called STEMY which works to break the socioeconomic, racial, and gender barri- ers within Louisville’s STEM education. Within the programs she is part of, she always tries to center equity and authentic student voice.
In her free time, Spandana enjoys dinners with friends, listening to music, and driving. She is a massive Phoebe Bridgers fan and Gilmore Girls enthusiast!
