Jamie Smith is freshman at Brown University and a graduate of Henry Clay High School in Lexington.
Bio
Jamie Smith is from Lexington, Kentucky and a 2016 graduate of Henry Clay High School. While with KSVT, Jamie led the postsecondary education committee, worked to restore lottery funding to need-based higher education scholarships, and laid the research design groundwork for the team's book featuring student stories about navigating life after high school, Ready or Not. Jamie graduated from Brown in 2020 with a degree in international relations. After spending a year and a half at a housing non-profit working on eviction defense in Detroit, Jamie is now pursuing her J.D. at NYU School of Law.
