Hayden Watkins (he/him) serves as the Kentucky Student Voice Team's Legislative and Policy Coordinator and is a member of KSVT's Board.

Bio

Hayden Watkins (he/him) serves as the Kentucky Student Voice Team's Legislative and Policy Co-Coordinator, helps produce KSVT’s podcast, and is a student researcher. He is also a member of KSVT's Board. One of Hayden’s favorite projects with the team was working on the Race to Learn study, which delivered direct student input on racism and race education in Kentucky Schools.

Hayden is a junior at Rowan County Senior High School and is an alumnus of the Rogers Scholars, Kentucky Governor’s School for Entrepreneurs, and Governor’s School for the Arts programs. He deeply loves Kentucky, especially his own region of the state tucked away in the Appalachian mountains.
