Bio

Chase Colvin serves as Research Lead for the Kentucky Student Voice Team and is a Junior at duPont Manual High School.

He found out about KSVT the summer before his Sophomore year and immediately reached out to get involved. Since then, he has worked in the Policy Team to create policy briefs on current legislation. He also became an active member of the Research Team. Here he helped Rose Research gather survey responses, interview students, and compile the end report. He will currently be working to finish the Rose Research report and transitioning the Research Team to their next project.

When not working with KSVT he likes to dedicate his time with KY YMCA to create regional service projects or with his school’s Executive Council to ensure a fun environment for their rival week. In his free time, he enjoys pickleball (sunsets preferred), building his poetry skills, and rewatching comfort movies.
